Taller heroines always had issues in Tollywood. Heroines who have height of being just above average find it really difficult to shape up their career, heroes of present generation unlike the previous one are of slightly lesser height which has become quite a problem for heroines who are slightly taller making them unsuitable for these star heroes or starlet kids.
The classic case among them is Anushka, before her re-entry as Jejamma, she was almost thrown out of the industry only because of her height. She lost at least 6 projects one among which was with Jr NTR because of her height. Beauty queen Gadde Sindhura also had issues with her height. Another beauty queen Vasuki also reportedly lost offers to act with Naga Chaitanya and Ram Charan thanks to her height.
Latest entrant in the list is Lakshmi Rai. Lakshmi Rai who hoped to get a break in Tollywood with the movie Adhinayakudu seems to be facing height problems because of her height. The heroines with medium height like Tamannah and kajal are ruling the industry now.
