Summer Bonanza For Tollywood

Post the success of big budgeted films this summer, Tollywood filmmakers can proudly say that golden days of Telugu Cinema are back again.

The stupendous success of Racha, Dammu and Gabbar Singh at the Box Office has given new hope for Industry, which was in a slump the past few years. It's the first time in the last decade or so, three big films of three big stars recorded consecutive hits one after the other.

The festival started with Ram Charan's Racha, which collected a share of Rs 55 crores to enter into super hit category. After which NTR's powerful entertainer Dammu, collected a share of Rs 35 crores and become an above average grosser. The Ultimate Finishing touch was Pawan Kalyan’s  'Gabbar Singh', which will end up collecting anywhere above Rs 80 crores in its total run. With these three flicks, a mammoth share of Rs 160 crores has been generated.

Altogether, this is a very good sign for Tollywood!
