Congress party’s newly elected Rajya Sabha member and megastar K Chiranjeevi is in a peculiar situation or to say precisely, in a pitiable condition.
Though he is touring extensively in different parts of the state to campaign for the party in the by-elections, his mind is in his residence in Hyderabad, where preparations are in full swing for the marriage of his son Ram Charan Teja with Upasana Kamineni scheduled to be held on June 14. Obviously he is missing all the hungama going on in his residence for the wedding.
It is rather unfortunate for any parent to be away from home when his son’s marriage is about to be held within four days. At a time when he has to supervise the arrangements personally and take care of the last minute requirements, Chiranjeevi is forced to sweat it out under the scorching sun to campaign for the Congress party candidates.
But Chiranjeevi cannot escape his responsibility. The Congress high command has chosen him as the star campaigner for the party and has set him a target of winning at least six assembly seats. Depending on the party’s performance are his chances of getting elevated to the Central cabinet.
So, he has no option but to be on the streets.

In any case, the campaign comes to an end on Sunday evening, much to the relief of Chiranjeevi. He can now be there with his family members for the next three days at least. However, the tension of securing good number of seats for the Congress party always hangs on his head
