Fraud case against RGV

It is very common in Bollywood for the reputed directors to write stories inspired by some newcomers and later to be forgotten about them entirely, this time it include Ram Gopal Verma for his latest movie Department which has Amitabh Bachchan in lead role supported by Sanjay Dutta and Rana Daggubati.
A police complaint about fraud has been lodged against Ram Gopal Varma on May 7 by a screenplay-cum-script writer for not paying him the money he is due for this movie. Danish Raza, writer informs that during June-July 2010 a person named Neeraj Sharma from Ramu’s office has come in his contact to write screenplay for Department.
After which Danish started working on various drafts for the story and the first draft was sent on July 19, 2010 after several meetings which was perfect for Ramu. Like any normal creative process Ramu worked on some scenes while Danish started working on screenplay and during these discussions his fee was finalized.
But there was never a contract which was delayed through various reasons as per which even Danish stopped working which made them sent a soft copy of the contract through mail. During the process of wait for hard copy of contract they completely stopped taking his calls, after which several reasons were giving for the delay in Department which made Danish think it to be no use asking for payment. Ramu when contacted claims ignorance about the existence of any such writer by stating that he has been busy with several things these days.
