'CID' The Movie
C.I.D, which has been running on TV since 1998, might soon be a film, says producer BP Singh. There’ll be a film on CID with the same cast, but one villain will be from outside, said Singh, adding that he was not sure when the film would be ready. Theoretically, it should start by the end of this year. The channel owns the rights. Even if the channel says yes today, we’d be able to start early next year, he added. It will be the third TV show after ‘Office Office’ and ‘Khichdi’ to be made into a movie. IANS
